Filter selection

A more useful ceramic filter inquiry starts with the application

Give the supplier enough context to discuss an equipment specification, rather than guessing from a model name.

By Ling Xiao · Marketing at Rongxin · Updated

Describe the separation task

Explain the material you need to separate and whether the requirement concerns concentrate or tailings. Share the required capacity and the operating information available to you.

If you have a target result or an existing specification, include it in the discussion. Make clear whether a figure is a measured result, a target or an estimate.

Include the site and purchasing context

Describe the relevant site conditions, delivery destination and expected purchasing schedule. If this is a replacement for existing equipment, explain the current setup and the reason for considering a change.

  • Material and application.
  • Required capacity and available operating information.
  • Site conditions or known installation constraints.
  • Delivery destination and required timing.

You do not need to invent missing information to complete an inquiry. Mark it as unknown and ask what the supplier needs next.

Separate a discussion from a confirmed recommendation

An initial conversation helps identify the next questions. It is not, by itself, confirmation of equipment performance or suitability.

Before moving forward

Ask which application details still need review and whether further documentation or evaluation is required before a specification can be confirmed.

Ling Xiao can coordinate the inquiry and follow-up with Rongxin. Equipment recommendations, quotations and order details are confirmed through the company.

These notes provide general purchasing guidance, not equipment-specific engineering advice. Specifications and suitability require confirmation for your application.
